Housing & Accommodations
MissionLab is hosted on the campus of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary β one of the most beautiful seminary campuses in the South. Housing, meals, a worship venue, meeting rooms, gym, and pool are all on-site. Your group doesn't have to worry about logistics.

Our Speakers
Each program week features a speaker and worship leader drawn from NOBTS faculty, pastors, and ministry leaders from across the country.
Jonathan Victorian Jr.
Director of MissionLab
NOBTS
Jonathan serves as the Director of MissionLab, where he leads efforts to connect mission teams with the city of New Orleans through hands-on ministry and Gospel-centered service. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity in Expository Preaching at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Eli Byrd
Assistant Professor of Christian Ministry
NOBTS
Eli holds an M.Div. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently an Ed.D. candidate at Southeastern. With a passion for discipleship and education, Eli seeks to see the Gospel take deep root in believers' lives, empowering them for mission.
George Ross
Professor of Church Planting & Evangelism β Cecil B. Day Chair
NOBTS
Dr. Ross was the founding pastor of Lifepoint Church and serves as the Send Network Regional Director for the South Region with the North American Mission Board. His ministry spans church planting, revitalization, and mentoring leaders for long-term gospel impact.
Luke Johnson
Assistant Professor of Global Missions & Director, ServeNola Gap Year
NOBTS
A New Orleans native, Dr. Johnson played collegiate football at the University of Southern Mississippi, earning All-American and All-Conference honors. He came to faith in 1998 and has served in ministry since 1999 as both an itinerant preacher and pastor in the U.S. and cross-culturally on multiple continents.

Jewl Bell
Student Ministry Leader & Ministry Assistant
Lakeshore Church / NAMB
Jewl co-leads the Student Ministry at Lakeshore Church in New Orleans. He believes he is called to preach and teach God's Word, along with serving college and high school students in need of godly leadership.
Andrew Belmore
Worship Leader & Artist
Crescent City Worship / Lighthouse Music
Originally born in New Orleans, raised in Eagle River, Alaska, Andrew returned to study composition at NOBTS. He serves as a worship leader in Slidell, LA, and leads worship at revivals, conferences, DNOWs, and camps. His musical influences include Anchor Hymns, Mission House, Leeland, and Brooke Ligertwood.
